Urban Food Futures’ latest article: The subtle relationship between food policy councils and mayors.
Researchers looked into the effect of a mayor’s political support on a local food policy groups (such as ‘food policy councils‘ and ‘food partnerships’). Key messages:

- Food policy groups must reflect upon the pros and cons of the space in which they are to operate.
- They should take their ability to survive political cycles very seriously.
