Guideline 1: Monitoring of runoff and infiltration of storm water

This manual on monitoring of runoff and infiltration of storm water proposes a methodology to relate different future scenarios of land use to changes in the runoff indicator and in flood risk. It gives an example for Rosario (Argentina), where increase of green areas in urban and suburban areas, such as green sidewalks, green roofs, agriculture and forestry, is one of the scenarios.

Other methodological guidelines in the series Monitoring impacts of urban and peri-urban agriculture and forestry on climate change mitigation and adaptation are:

Guideline 2: Monitoring of temperature effects
Guideline 3: Calculating climate change related indicators of urban/regional food production and consumption
