RUAF partners participated in research and pilot projects related to productive reuse of wastewater in Accra, Beijing and Lima. They did so in the context of the SWITCH project on sustainable and integrated city water management.
René van Veenhuizen and Olofunke Cofie (2011) share the main results in Urban Agriculture Magazine no. 20 Sustainable use of water in urban agriculture.
Furthermore, articles on two of the city studies were included in this final report on the SWITCH project (see page 39 onwards for the Lima study and page 225 onwards for the Beijing study).
