The new issue of the Urban Agriculture Magazine delves into the critical role of urban and periurban agriculture (UPA) in addressing global challenges and its multifunctional benefits beyond food production.
The first section of the magazine features contributions from partners in EFUA. It showcases innovative practices, successful initiatives from across Europe and inspiring examples of UA policies and strategies outside Europe. EFUA is a 4-year project (2020-2024) funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, and RUAF is proud to be a participant.
The second section provides updates and insights from several projects in which RUAF or RUAF partners are involved. These projects provide valuable lessons and initiatives on policy experiences with UPA and food systems governance in the Global South.
The Urban Agriculture Magazine 39 has been produced in collaboration with the European Forum on Urban Agriculture (EFUA) and Rikolto.
